remember club asking for help a couple of times in 85/86 season with clearing the pitch. A free seat ticket for helping. Leicester was one of the games, dropped 2 points with a 2-2 draw. The other one not sure, maybe Oxford and I think we lost. Maybe should have let them be postponed. Young bloke Duncan shearer up front for the Leicester game because Kerry was injured.

Oxford at home we lost 1-4..Would have have gone top with a win...Remember it well as my eldest brother was a massive Oxford fan going home & away for many years...This game fell on his birthday!

I only use that twitter account purely for those sort of pics rather than using it as myself, its good though after 2/3 days I had over 600 followers.

You have got some quality stuff on there mate. As much as i like looking at modern day away support of any club it doesnt even come close to the older stuff.

Yeah mate it also shows up the so called big clubs away turn outs at some games, see WHU/Arsenal & y*ds at Man Utd for example, terrible support.

It seems its all about the lower divisions or even the non league stuff these days. I follow a few of the Casual Facebook pages and they often put up pics of the support of lower league teams, they always look up for as good day out. A bit like us in the 80s and 90s eh?

Nah not sure what game that is mate, i never got the chance to go in the north stand as it was knocked down well before my time.
