Haha, that could be right...remember dads taking their kids thru the turnstile saying 'room for a little in' as the kid squeezed in with them. Blimey, some of our crowds must have been massive if they were added in.

My oldman used to do that all the time with me. The first time he done it i was about 7 and i kicked off shouting how he " forgot to pay for me ". I only went coz i wanted a go on the clicking turnstiles.

Re- Save the Bridge question by CB;

Never revealed as far as I can remember and seems in line with Kens financial secrecy.

I sponsored goals one season and have a save the bridge Certificate certificate somewhere.

Felt more a part of Chelsea then than I feel now. My few pounds helped me bind even more to the Chelsea scene of the time even though Ken probably spent my few quid on a beard trimmer:-

Back then we used to sing "you'll never walk alone" Bit embarrassing

Most clubs did and I loved singing it in those days. my best one being when we sang it against Liverpool in the 4-2 FA cup win in the 70's

Our supportters club had a fuction with Osgood and chopper a good few years back now and chopper went up and sang you'll never walk alone we all thought is he taken the piss lol. But like chopper said all clubs sang it. All Liverpool done was Rob it and put it on their crest and gates. I thought f**k this so I went up and sang blue is the colour, ossie came up and joined me. I was only 16 and full of cider ha ha.

Looks like a fair few Red green and white  bar scarfs like (78s)

Looks like same old loyal supporter geezer with Glasses on as in the Chelsea V Leeds Crowd shot (Near middle bottom). Probably about his age now :sad:

A oiece about the ORIGIONAL "leader " type in the shed ...Now someone somewhere on site mentioned a scots fellow in the 60s...I thought it was always going to be Greenaway....I read on youtube that OFFICIALLY Mr Greenaway is credited with being the origional leader/ songster and handed the reigns to our Eccles

Definitely has to be Greenaway, he took the small half way line group from the west stand terrace into the covered south terrace, which became the shed. Along with characters such as Jesus. I've read about a Scot, but honestly don't remember who that is.

Saw it on Cathy's fb, nobody has been able to identify the game, can anyone on here work it out? Best comment so far is "Judging by the away support it looks like QPR" :smile:

I assume the track suited guy maybe Dmetri Kharin ?....who then is the guy on the goal line, looking like he's about to take a goal kick ?
