Doesn’t look too packed. Room to squeeze a few more in. Biggest crushes I remember. QPR, School End, Boxing Day 82

Grimsby last day of season 84

Liverpool at home, 1978, Bovril Gate trying to get into the benches ( Borotas first game)

Just realised,😀 there’s someone in the tv gantry celebrating King Kerry’s equaliser!😀

25th August 1984. We return to Division 1 , a lunch time kick off and live on ITV.

We took a massive support to the season opener at Highbury, Our support took the entire Clock End and other parts of the other stands.

Paul Mariner scored for Arsenal in the 35th minute. Four minutes later King Kerry Dixon scored a superb equaliser.

It ended 1-1.

The signings during the summer of 1983.

King Kerry has just scored against Derby. That day, the start of ‘that season’. 27th August 1983.

This game, astonishingly, took place 43 years ago today !

Okay, okay, okay, so I fully admit this is just an excuse to go down 'that season' memory lane again.

A great many of us 'old gits' would travel back to 'that season'

The Tardis would be mobbed:biggrin:

Count me in, I can hear the Doctor Who music already. What a season that was - let’s do Luton tonight and then and have Dirty Leeds in the next round.

Totally agree. Unsurprisingly!😀

Best badge ever on the East stand

There was a turquoise version of that sign. Same place as the above, and also from memory in the forecourt, by the turnstiles.

Never really associated turquoise with Chelsea but it looked the bo**ocks.

According to my mate Clint whose a bit of a Mr Chelsea ( well known to pitch owners group) one of them was given to a handicapped fan
