Quite an unusual opponents for this friendly game. British Olympic X1. Assume it was a team of possible British players for the 1960 Rome Olympics, the following summer ?!

 Anyway, we won 4-1. Our scorers: Jimmy Greaves with 2 and Gibbs with 2.Our team that night.

Team: Bonetti, Shellito, Sillett P, Anderton, Mortimore, Compton, Corthine, Greaves, Bridges, Gibbs, Block

Looks like a team of mainly youngsters.    A crowd of 6,302 saw it

Yes 154 spectators, 152-153 more than QPR bring to The Bridge,,,

Our team that night could all honestly say that they had been to Cambridge University !
