July 14, 20206 yr Taken in 1979 football ground guide. Following an agreement with the copyright holder reproduced here is short film footage of a number of English and Scottish Football grounds taken during the 1979/1981 seasons. The original Cine film was shot in Super 8 format in colour and last approximately 90 seconds the quality is variable. (This version 640x480). The footage captures the scene in and around grounds revealing the stands and terraces and they are a unique snapshot of crucially how the grounds appeared at the time before some of which disappeared forever or had yet to be redeveloped. Clubs not featured were either never filmed or they refused permsission to film at their ground.

With this thread being now 773 pages. There is always the possibility of pictures being posted before. I admit to reposting pics that simply I like.

Pictures and videos of games we've been to and shared memories rather than just pictures of Peter Rhoades Brown with the copyright holders name running through it. I started at the beginning of the thread while stuck at home and it's old boys swapping stories which I loved. Edited July 14, 20206 yr by bluehaze

But sometimes really good pictures and videos are missed by other posters because of and a good example is funny enough pictures of someone like Eamonn Bannon. I was at his debut (if not then one of his first games against Liverpool certainly Borota's debut). I like hearing stories from fans Ewell CFC usually has a good one up his sleeve same as Richard P. F1905 (think that's his name two tone avatar). Edit: Just seen Ewell has been banned so no more stories from him ! Edited July 14, 20206 yr by bluehaze

I never thought you were trying to censor me posting😀 That’s why I started the Chelsea v West Brom 1905 Thread and try and post everything pre ish 1920 in there. I too enjoy the stories from bygone days. Mind you the recent banter and photos of the cricket at The Bridge baffled me as a Scot😀
