My mate sent me this from Twitter the guy who posted it said it needed updating I don't think it does. For those of us who had to go through 78-79 winning only five games in a 42 match season to think nearly 35 years later we would have seen us win everything it's almost like coming full circle.

 

A must have for me back then.

Against Liverpool too. Looks like Chris Lawler on the line and Emlyn Hughes. Tommy Lawrence in goal. They used to call him the 'flying pig.' Is that Peter Osgood in the background?

Sligo is where my old man is from I had no idea at the time we were playing them otherwise I would have definitely gone. I remember the Chelsea Independent fanzine some of the writers went and had a great time apparently.
