After what happened at Shamfield, are we really bothered about it now?

It just go's to show the dippers that we really did have bigger fish to fry.

Surely they still cant take this result seriously.The only reason i brought this up, is i just remembered it myself,and then pissed myself laughing.

They can bang on all they want....................we won the European Cup without killing anyone.

Considering we had just beaten them at wembley in the FA cup final I wasn't bothered at the time and I certainly ain't bothered now! We won the one that mattered, then won the European cup to boot..... 4-1 in a meaningless league game, yeah they can have that!

Hindsight is beautiful, but resting players/not prioritising the league was the right thing to do, our players were fresh for the final.

I'd forgotten about this meaningless game.

Remember that Belgian team Genk? they drew with the European Champion at home when something was on the line.

I am surprised that they aint been on here bragging about themselves being the team to thrash the European champions.
