^^ I imagine these trophies are always being damaged. Remember last year when Ramos dropped the Copa del Rey off the parade bus. Laughable that the Mail are touting such a non story as an "exclusive" and a "huge embarrassment".

Such a non story and so predictable that the Fail would label it such an 'embarrassment' for the club as if it tarnishes the victory and suddenly covers us in shame.

It was a minor bit of damaged caused by accident behind closed doors and it has already been fixed. End of.

And as stories go I would say this is far more 'embarrassing' considering the cup was dropped in the public eye during the victory parade and was then run over by the bus. All caught on film.

But let's not let that get in the way of the Fails 'breaking story' of such an epic embarrassment.

What a complete and utter sh*t rag the Mail is.

Stop complaining the NHL's Stanley Cup gets taken home by the players, who take it in turn to do what they want with.....See below

It's amazing that the trophy can be passed around the team, listed, juggled and displayed by a huge amount of people and be just fine, but when three people then try and pose with it, it breaks. What the heck where they doing with it?

If they had any sense (or money) drinking from it. I heard it takes at least thirty bottles of champers to fill.

Great so now we've damaged one can we have a 2nd made and let the fans hold the damaged one?? Chelsea being far too precious with that trophy, it's pissed me right off.

A certain cup from an FA competition may have been toured to Afghanistan, where the lid may have been dropped and bent as it was being lofted. It happens, the trophies themselves are merely chattels to the true subject of respect and reverence, the act of winning itself!

Congrats to the Kings! Personally, I would love the same tradition for the European Cup going back home with each player for a day. How could you miss photo ops like this.
