Anyone here run a supporters club?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of starting one here in Milwaukee. We have 3 big football bars and 3 or 4 other small ones now. 10 years ago we had 1. I'm looking to start a Bronze level club. So if anyone has any tips or suggestions, I'm all ears.

Have you tried contacting Chelsea in America?

If you're on twitter they are @CFCInAmerica

They usually have a good following at the Pre Seasons, I think they even get tickets, and they are officially affiliated with the club

What does that mean out of interest? I live in Norway now and was thinking of joining the local one but as I can't make most of the events and can get tickets from friends in UK not sure I will.

What does the club offer supporters clubs and vice versa?

I wish there were a supporters club in Brisbane, Australia that is active. Would be good to meet more Blues fans to go to matches at the pub with.

There is. It is called the Brisbane Chelsea Supporters Club. You can join at https://www.facebook.com/groups/brisbanechelsea/

They watch matches at the Pig and Whistle at Riverside in the CBD.

I don't really know how "active" they are, but they watch the matches and have a bit of a sing song. I've only been a couple of times a while back, and actually prefer watching by myself at home.

Hope that helps.

I'm part of official Slovenia supporters. We have around 70 members and we are bronze club so we basiclly don't get anything from Chelsea. We are guaranteed to get tickets for 1 category B match in a season( this year we got tickets for Sunderland, last year Stoke etc.). We have banner hanging up all season in the West stand. We' re growing every day here in Slovenia, we have a lot of meetings, watching matches together, I arranged trip to Amsterdam for 8 people this year, last year 50 of us went to Munich.. But we still ned 25 true blue members( now there are 15 TB members I think) to become silver club so we can get more tickets for bigger teams.

So to sum up, it's nice to feel officialy associated to Chelsea but it's nothing really as long you don't have 50 or 70 true blue members in your club..

Attempted to contact them a while back but never received a reply which sucked. I guess just fill in the form and see how you go.

I've got a CFC mate in Adelaide, Chelsea mad he is, we met on an escolator at Euston en route to Villa away in 1991/2, he asked me how to get there & ended up coming with me & my pals, we've been mates ever since.

Not sure if its yours or you've seen it but there's an Adelaide Chelsea flag at some games now, i saw it at the Europa final on tv.

My supporters club banner is hanging up in the west stand. Waterford blues going since the 80s official since 1990

I went to a wedding in 2001 in Tramour & watched our game away to Southampton in a pub opposite a church, got talking to a fella in there with a bald head who said he was in the Waterford supporters club, sure the pub was something to do with it as well as there were quite a few CFC in there.

I cant remember the fella's name to be honest mate, i was at the wedding that day & managed to pop in the pub after, but had to go back a bit later for the photo's ect then on to the reception at a hotel along the sea front.
