I don't bet on Chelsea, we have lost everytime. My 95/97 Home Shirt used to be my lucky shirt, as in I would it for every big game and we were unbeaten while I was wearing that particular shirt. I even wore it when we won the league at Bolton. Then when we are 2-0 down to 'Boro away (05/06) at half time, I put this shirt on to try and 'salvage' the result and it was ruined after that. This lucky shirt has been replaced by my 2010 FA Cup Final shirt with Lampard on the back. I wore this shirt on the 19th May so maybe this is my new one. My housemate who is a West Ham fan has a new superstition of not recording the games they play, as they have lost every game he has recorded so far this season.

I am very glad Rambo was put back into a central role, as a winger he just doesn't do it for me, certainly not this season anyway. Agreed re: Lampard, not an automatic starter anymore but absolutely has a role to play.

Just imagining being Champions of the World. Imagine chanting that one at Anfield...

The prospect of Lampard leaving Chelsea makes me feel old. Been in the team as long as I can remember (born in '89). Mental.

Has anyone here read the Jason Marriner book and how he breaks down the MacIntrye expose they did on the Chelsea Headunters? Seems like they are using similar tactics here. I feel like this will be one piece of programming that I won't feel particuarly guilty in downloading in a dishonest fashion. They don't deserve the money.

I think this U21 league system they are about to roll out will answer a lot of issues. It also protects the integrity of the FL/FA Cup.

The biggest thing he needs right now simply is game time. A loan at a Championship club would probably be the best step, as I can't think of a Prem club that would be able to play him week in week out.

We actually got an email from Chelsea FC Asia, offering to arrange us tickets. Not sure what will come out of that yet. I had a mate go over to Japan in 2008 when Adelaide United qualified for the competetion. He reckoned that tickets were pretty easy to get hold of, and that was the year Man Utd were in it. So I don't imagine tickets will be too much of an issue.

I remember reading Roy Keane's book. The reason he disliked the Irish set up was because of how unprofessional it was and that there was no drive to win. It was a complete culture shock switching from Man Utd to the Ireland set up. He can obviously see that zero has changed in 10 years. He wants to see them do well and is frustrated, and being the character he is, he isn't going to hold back! I enjoy the bluntness also.
