Darren Bent

Isn't Harry Redkanpp's mom a better player than him?

All jokes aside, worth a shot for a loan, nothing to lose and a few things to gain. I remember him scoring a few goals against us in recent years.

He scores goals, hes a big lad and a threat in the air, he can hold the ball up and probably knows that in a big club he wouldn't play every game and hes only 28, 3 year contract and his wages wouldnt be high

He's already on £65k a week and that's at Villa. Whilst he isn't expensive by our standards, he's also not good enough by our standards. We can and should do better.

Darren Bent? Really? Is this what we have come to?

He wouldn't have been good enough for us when he was firing, he certainly wouldn't now.

No disrespect to him but to me he is the definition of a midtable club striker. Put him in an England shirt or even a spuds shirt and he looks like a rabbit in the headlights.
