Lukaku to Everton

Woodhogan,

Whatever you want.

Have I got news for you. I know it might be far fetched, but Chelsea's going undefeated in the PL. Quite absurd, but not unattainable.

I prefer. Bobby ;)

You think we'll be undefeated? Sorry but I just don't think we will, can't see that been done again for a team anytime soon

OK Bobby it is.

Well whatever I think is irrelevant. I just hope, Chelsea's capable to hammer anybody. Since the last season showed me, the team is capable to beat the top teams, but had trouble with the bottom ones & bought three very good players, I feel it's not impossible to go without a loss. Don't quote me on it, it's just a little dream.

get a room!

In a desperate attempt to steer this thread back onto football.

With Ba's departure all but confirmed now and with Eto'o having already left there's clearly a space in the squad for Lukaku right now.

Question is, does he want it?

He's not going to be a starter in a top side so he's got to choose if he wants to stay at Chelsea to compete for trophies and prove he has the ability to contribute or does he want to leave (either permanently or on loan) to play regular football for a mid-table side?

I hope you're right haha

I hope he does because he has to know even as second choice he'll get plenty of game time.

Lukaku might be tempted to stay now. However, there's one little hurdle to overcome. Apparently, Chelsea wants him to extend his contract & I am not sure if he's interested in that. Wait & see.

If he doesn't sign a new contract then he will most likely be sold

Can't see us selling or loaning him again without bringing someone else in. If he stays he should get more than enough opportunities to prove himself and take the #1 spot.

Lukaku is not ready to take No. 1 spot now or in the next season. Perhaps, in two or three years.

I think that's what he meant by saying prove himself and taking his opportunities

Added "Chelsea Player" to his Twitter bio.

Read into that what you will.

I'm assuming by this he means Torres is no longer a Chelsea player.  (one can hope)

Lukaku has? Interesting

Interesting indeed... I so hope he has sort of come to.his senses and understand blurbing out to the media is more than likely detrimental to his career ay Chelsea. For me it has been extremely annoying but him putting in 15-20 with all the matches we will play will quickly change that opinion.
