the bromance is dead!

According to Chelsea daft BA is on his way to Besiktas after Chelsea have reduced his fee.

So, about that Lukaku fella, apparently Ba is on his way out. Could this mean Lukaku stays this season. Costa first choice, Lukaku second, Torres third?

Would be good but if the rumours about the contract and loan are true the surely we're after someone else

For me to see Costa, Lukaku & Torres as the strike force in the next season is what I want to see. Perhaps, even Lukaku might be keen to extend his contract.

This is what I like to see too given than we are stuck with Torres. However I don't want to see Lukaku extend his contract so soon. We have no idea if he really is the real deal.

We could also see Costa, Torres, Drogba trio if the rumours are to be believed.

We'll have to see if Lukaku is staying then I don't think we'll be signing any other strikers

Woodhogan, Lukaku should stay providing he has a good chance to play, even second fiddle. If he refuses to stay after it's offered to him, then I would rather see him sold.

Thing is if he stays as second choice he'll get plenty of game time, he will just have to accept that Costa is first choice and that he needs to try to dislodge him as that

We both know, Lukaku is not ready to dislodge Costa. Thanks for your approval. Chelsea is playing plenty of games and he should be able to match the amount of games he played for Everton, I believe. So wait & see. Whatever happens with Lukaku is not important anymore. Costa is the real deal now.

I know he isn't but he has to aim for that is what I am saying.

I feel Lukaku has potential to be around 25 goals in a season. Whether he is capable to achieve this, I am not sure as of now. Nobody is going to hand him anything on a silver platter, I feel. To me, he is very immature. Will he ever grow up?

Potentially yes he is very capable and hopefully he will mature and stay on here

Whatever happens to him, be it. I as a Chelsea fan, just want to see the club playing with zest, more offensive football & winning games. Over the summer of transfers, I am happy so far. This club came close last season, have bought a striker, much needed in my opinion, Cesc is a very good player, Luis is flying in soon, just about done with the transfer window. Perhaps, BA is going as well. One thing I would like to see, young players getting a chance to get into this squad.

Seems fairly obvious to me that, if he's being offered an extension and another loan Jose doesn't want him, plain and simple (the object would be to increase the price plain and simple).

IF he was wanted here, he wouldn't be offered out on loan, because now Ba has gone/going that leaves three strikers at the club, so, unless he's not wanted there wouldn't be any talk of a loan.

It would be a simple ... Costa first choice and the other two play as and when Jose sees fit.

 

I personally think he's talked his way out of the club, he will be sold and another striker will be brought in to fight it out with Torres, any other scenario looks very unlikely at this moment.

I'll be happy with just winning, if its super attacking or not, been gung ho all season does not produce trophies.

I think there may be one more after those transfers, but could depend on what happens to Lukaku,

I wasn't referring to gung-ho as Liverpool, but certainly I would appreciate a bit more offense instead of defensive struggle as I had seen in several games in the last season. I always enjoyed an avalanche of attacks. Give me 6 zip any day.

I think there were factors in that though, against the smaller sides we didn't know how to open them up with Fabregas in the team hopefully he can provide the answer for that
