Lukaku to Everton

Featured Replies

Not too worried if we sell him but hope we sell him outside Premier League. Best scenrario is we sell Ba or Torres and bring in Lukaku. But as he is not interested in CL football or the possibility of winning trophies no reason to bring him back. Funny is he talks exactly the opposite. The club who owns him could bring him all that...

I still think we would have walked the PL had he been an option in all those games where we threw points away against bottom half teams. Yes, he looks like another Emile Heskey but that kind of player is mighty useful in PL, if not CL.

Its possible but he may have played in other games and been useless therefore dropping points, you just can't call it like that

But you know in advance who's going to park the bus and who you might have to throw the kitchen sink at.

If we sell him, it has to be outside the PL. if we sell to a rival like Spurs or Liverpool, especially after what happened with Sturridge, I am going to be f**king livid.

In the games against the lesser teams lukaku could well have made a difference, we needed a player to bully those teams.

Off load him into Europe somewhere if the plan is to get shot of him, or to a mid table PL team but not to a possible top 4/5 contender...nuts, especially to the bin dippers

The Dippers would probably pay circa £25M for him but we'll be lucky to get £20M abroad, the latter would make more sense though, no way should we sell again to those competing with us, the Sturridge affair still gives me cold sweats.

If Lukaku is sold, then I would like to know what kind of message is Chelsea sending out to young players?

Some players might hesitate to sign with Chelsea, I feel.

Maybe its a message that they need to fight for their place and keep their gob shut

Woodhogan,

Lukaku doesn't need Chelsea to play football for a good team. If he's given a chance, in two years he might be one fine striker.

And then again he might not be, his attitude has really annoyed me. He thinks he's already one of the best strikers in Europe, he needs to learn he has to fight for his place and keep his trap shut, instead of talking about leaving all the damn time because he isn't first choice. He should learn from Dave, he sat on the bench wuietly until Jose gave him his opportunity and he took it.

Yeh the message is, do your job, earn good money and keep your gob shut, your time will come if you produce the goods.

1905, his message is a bit different, I assume. You signed me, I have been on the loan for two years & you bought Costa. Thanks for your time, see you later. Love Lukaku.

Balls to that, this shows his immaturity, he could have stayed on last season but spat his dummy out because Jose signed Eto'o. We were looking to offload Ba but when Lukaku asked to leave we had no choice but to let him go on loan and keep Ba on. Lukaku needs to learn he's not automatic first choice, he has to fight for it. Its all about Lukaku not willing to fight, he very may well have gotten his chance last season but he wanted it handed to him without earning it.

Woodhogan,

I see it a slightly different. Lukaku came last year, played fairly well in the preseason, but... We don't know exactly what was said or happened. I don't rely on the sh*tty UK media.

All I can see now, Lukaku wasn't given a proper chance & if he leaves Chelsea will regret it. Just like with Sturbridge.

Lukaku, clearly didn't have qualities that Jose wanted or he felt it would take time to get that embedded into him. Lukaku, seeing limited opportunities in what the space of 2 months (if that) wanted out, he wasn't willing to fight for his place and felt it was his right to play upfront just because the previous season he'd scored goals with West Brom. Sorry but to me that's all wrong, no one is bigger than the club, you have to earn the right to play in the team and. I'm sure had he just shut his mouth and got on with it he'd have been given a chance, just like Dave. I say sell him abroad if he doesn't sort his attitude out.
