It's been circulating around a lot of sites but it looks like it originated at the Daily Mail, and while it's clearly a load of bullsh*t it's fairly good for a laugh.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2295484/Arsenal-target-Chelseas-Petr-Cech-replace-form-Wojciech-Szczesny.html

Arsenal scouts have apparantley been "monitoring Cech's progress" recently and with him "facing increasing pressure from Thibaut Courtois for the #1 spot" may look for an escape to the Emirates.

:pig_flying:

Literally not a scrap of evidence. They even go on to say:

Cech’s deal expires in the summer of 2016 and the chances of Chelsea agreeing to sell the goalkeeper to one of their biggest rivals seem remote.

Shameless morons

£15m + Wilshere and we'll think about it.

I don't want that injury-prone little scroat at Chelsea.

Cech would never go to Arsenal, they're a laughing stock.

He just feigns injury cause he don't want to play for them... Get him in a real team like ours and he'll stay fit.

I was one of his doubters but when he was playing this season he was pretty impressive, the boy has got talent that's for sure.

Talent yes, but he's another Michael Owen waiting to happen in my eyes. Great theory though, feigning injury so he doesn't have to suffer the embarassment of being in a trophy-less team such as Le Arse!

And we really don't need any more midfielders...apart from maybe one DM now that Romeu is out.

I'm not sure he'd fit in with Arsenal's wage structure. I'd imagine he'd want more than 50p and a packet of Skips per week.

Arsenal will have to break their transfer record to get Petr Cech. I do not see them doing that for a keeper.

Although it is a whole another matter that Cech probably won't wanna go there in the first place.

The funniest part of this was "scouting" Cech, who the hell needs to scout one of the best keepers in world football?

Haha - just the Daily Mail committing the psychologist's fallacy. In their notes he's only down as "that tall bloke with the hat".
