Great read -especially hearing his take on previous managers

Yep, this is a must read.

A great insight into the runnings of our club and personalities over recent periods of management change.

Cool take on all the managers from an inside perspective.

 

Particularly like how Guus had the place sussed in a week, Carlo wanted those around him to be happy (which you could tell wasn't happening at the end) and how Villas Boas wasn't given the gift of time.

That was a cool interview - interesting to see how hostile he was about Scolari in comparison to the respect he showed for all the others.

 

I like his take on the top men: Hiddink as the genius master tactician, Ancelotti as the ultimate man manager and Robbie D as the man who bleeds blue, to the extent that he won us the Champions League just by letting Chelsea be Chelsea.

It was a really good read. Im glad it was posted.

Apparently Lollichon has an endless catalogue of exercises that he uses to keep his training methods interesting for the goalkeepers and he is forever creating new ones to keep them on their toes.

 

He's quite imaginative with is sessions and I imagine that's why despite the constant changes to management he has managed to stay a part of the coaching staff.

For sure but there is surely only so much pull a player must have over which coaches are at the club.

 

He must be doing a very good job at the club to have stayed through all the upheaval. 

Great read that, Uno wasnt there a rumour they were going to replace him until Cech stepped in and demanded he stay a few years ago?

No idea about that. I would think that Cech would have a bit of sway at the club. Also of all the managers he talked about how many of them took teams of backroom staff with them? Only Jose really. Thats why i was interested to see what happened this summer as Jose always takes his goal keeper coach with him.

By the way I have no doubt he is doing a good job and that is also what has kept him at the club.
