With the window closed the rumour threads shall slow down a bit but I saw some posts in various publications today that this guy might be a January transfer target for Jose.

 

It's a bit of a contradiction because Jose recently said he wasn't expecting any january transfers but with many still wanting Mikel to go and if he does I think Gündogan would be a magnificent signing. Have to wait until at least December though for any real base to this.

I would absolutely love to have this guy at Chelsea but to be totally honest I cannot see it happening in a million years.

He hasn't signed yet.

 

It could happen as next summer he'll be in the last year of his contract. Still seems more likely he'll sign a new one than not though.

I love Gundogan and he would be exactly the kind of player we need in midfield.

They had a lower wage budget than QPR at the beginning of last season. Their revenue is increasing dramatically but they still aren't financial big hitters.

Little more than a pipe dream but I feel he'd be the answer to many of our problems regarding distribution from deep.

 

A few have compared him to Wilshere but he still has a lot to prove whereas Gundogan's done it all. The thing I really like about Gundogan is how mobile and aggressive he is, actually. Wilshere's got that bit more aggression but he gives away a lot of stupid fouls because of it. I feel Gundogan has the better range of passing and is more suited to a deeper role, too. They've both got a bit of Scholes about them in the tackle but Gundogan's a natural at dictating the play which is something I wouldn't really say about Wilshere.

Gundogan and Schweinsteiger are the two most well rounded central midfielders in football at the minute I think. Gundogan is very good defensively, but he is so deadly going forward as well. He's also a leader on the field, which is something we are lacking when we compare our current team to Mourinho's team when he first took over, we had so many big personalities on the pitch

Now, that man would sort out our midfield problems.
