I have to disagree with comments that Basel are 'poor' I think that they look a pretty good side and have played some good stuff without effing around on the ball

There was that one to Johnson when I think Johnson was behind Gerrard when the latter made the pass forward to the corner. Perhaps Johnson should have anticipated it but there was no bugger there.

If United or former United team mates are playing badly Neville would call it... Fowler trying to make excuses for Gerrard (although he admitted Liverpool weren't good enough)

 

Inevitable now Gerrard will score 2 late goals to win it for the Scousers

Fair play to Arsenal who have rested Sanchez and a couple of others and are 3-nil up away at Galatasaray, not an easy place to go

Neville's took punditry to a new level, I even like Carragher too

Both are fantastic. 

 

I would love to see Lamps or Terry do some punditry in the future. I can see Terry doing it while he gets his badges.
