2014/15 Season: Ups and Downs

Featured Replies

I know the season isn't fully finished yet as we have three games still to play but with our title victory today it's time to look back on the high points and low points of this season.

High Points

  • 3-6 victory over Everton.
  • 0-5 victory over Swansea.
  • 0-2 victory over Arsenal.
  • 0-1 victory over QPR and the manner in which we did it, let alone who scored the winner!
  • Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa.
  • John Terry defying Father Time.
  • The Specialist in Failure has still failed to defeat Jose in 13 attempts. Just give up Arsehole Whinger.
  • Jose remains unbeaten against the top four for the second season running.
  • Only defeated twice in the league over the entire season.
  • Capital One Cup victory over a London rival.
  • Eden Hazard winning the Player of the Year Award.
  • Premier League victory with a 13-point gap over the nearest competitor.
  • We won the domestic double.
  • [Next Week] Guard of honor from Liverpool.

Low Points

  • Lampard scoring against us in the colors of Manchester City. This match felt like a defeat for the same reason.
  • 2-1 defeat to Newcastle. Alan Pardew has an annoying habit of giving us nightmare games.
  • 5-3 defeat to Tottenham. A definitive low point and we didn't look the same after it.
  • 2-4 defeat to Bradford City at home in the FA Cup. Ugh...
  • We couldn't get a penalty to save our lives this season, ironic that we got one to win the league huh?
  • Knocked out of the Champion's League, admittedly by a spirited Paris Saint-Germain side.
  • Media witch hunt against Diego Costa after the press conceded that he wasn't going to be a flop.
  • We went to war with the media in general come to think of it, especially after we denied Stevie Me a proper send-off.
  • 1-1 draw against Burnley at home. This felt like a defeat given the Matic drama. Glad these f**ks are going down.
  • Watching opposition players kick the sh*t out of Eden Hazard. He seriously needs protection from officials.

So many ups!!!

As for your Burnley down, think about how they helped us at what could have been a critical time earlier in the season, I must admit to screaming like a little girl when Burnley came back vs city LOL

Downs not many but the worst by far was Lamps, that goal will forever be burned in my memory.

Not a low point but the city home game was very tense when Lamps came on too, I think everyone was waiting for him to screw us.  And that WOULD have been  low point.

you forgot chelsea 2-4 bradford

That was the biggest low point for me.

I know the CL is vastly more important than the FA cup, however we can see now we would not have likely been able to get past Barca, with no Costa nor Remy. It may have cost us the games against United and Arsenal in the process.

However the Bradford game...we had no excuse there, we were just appalling careless. Jose sides do not lose games and get knocked out of cups after going 2-0 up against lower league sides.

We could, and should have been knocking off Arsenal at Wembley, again, and be getting geared up to face Villa in the final to have a shot at all 3 domestic titles.

Still though, we can try for that again next year. Been a great season for us.

Call em crazy but I didn't actually get that frustrated with the FA Cup defeat, I am for going for every competition but I thought the FA Cup could cause us problems on the run in.

I am not disappointed by anything though, just grateful for what we did win and the victories we got.

If you want to talk of low points, Jose's stupid "my dad is famous so I'm going to act like a big shot" son has been a d**k on instagram again.

I'm not on it.

What's he done now?

His son hasn't been a dick even once. Just like last time, this is a fake account.

His real account was gk_jose_ffc.

Way too many ups, absolutely outstanding season, the boys will not get nearly enough credit that they deserve but if Barcelona only lost 3 games in an entire season they'd be posting the DVD's to us free of charge. So proud
