Didn't know where else to put this, didn't really seem worth its' own thread. 

 

Chelsea is now ranked as the 5th most valuable football brand in world football according to the Telegraph. 

 

The list is based on The Brand Finance list, which measures a team's 'brand power' and its ability to monetise its global recognition.

 

All seems a bit pointless to me. 

 

Strange that Barca are behind us.

I presume Barcelona are behind us because of the new mega money tv deal in the Premier league.

I don't get why Barca are behind us and City and why City would be ahead of us? 

 

Maybe City got more TV money from being last years Champions or something but it's all a bit pointless really. 

 

If anything it just highlight how badly Premier League clubs are performing in Europe given our joint resources.

I'm probably going to get shot down for this - maybe I'm being foolish but I wondered about Bayern.  Sure they're a top club - but a top brand?  Really?  I don't think I ever see anyone wandering around in a Bayern shirt.  I guess I must be unobservant or am missing something.
