Im still not too sure where to go and grab a few pints beforehand. People are mentioned Brogans, but I was thinking more of a pub where people get rowdy and dont mind singing a song or two.

Anybody know why the imperials arms (west brompton) is shut?

We were in the Prince of Wales after the game yesterday and we noticed it was closed. Can only guess that it's do with the redevelopment of the Earls Court arenas. There were a couple of other places that had closed. Heard a rumour last night that the Prince of Wales may close as well.

closed because of the upcoming Earls Court redevelopment.

The landlord is thinking of The Barrow Boy (closed) as his next venture, its on the North End Road.

Both the Imp & POW are closing for the developments taking place, ive also heard the Lillie is closing in March.

Be no pubs left soon.

It's the same everywhere i'm afraid. I used to play for a pool team in the mid 90's around North and parts of West London. Of the 12 teams in the league my local is the only one still open.
