53-86 my very first badge :)

Only just seen this,

 

Obviously i've already made my claim on which badge i prefer, but there's also another badge that is actually missing from that list & its another fav of mine, this was the badge i was introduced to when i first started supporting the club as a kid.

That's sensational on the eye!

The current one is OK but it just looks like a slicker version of the 53-86 badge, more of a corporate logo than a 'badge'. So for that reason I prefer the older one.

Although I do quite like the one Carshalton posted above.

86-2005 for me since that is my era.

53-86 my one and only tattoo done in 1972, ouch.

86-05

That's due to my age being born in 86. I grew up with that badge and it will always stick with me the most for that reason.

I do however think our current badge is a very good mix of old and new, not go a problem with it at all.

That is the one I grew up with, too. Was actually a tough choice between that one and the new one, as it automatically makes you think of Zola and those good years.

The one Carshalton Blue has put up there is a lot better than the other 53-86 one - assuming it was during the same time, of course.

BTW, just seen the one on your avatar, CB, and in all honesty, I reckon that version of it trumps the lot of them. It's an updated version of the old one without the garishness and I have to say, it looks absolute class.

There's obviously different versions off the 53/86 badge but the one above next to the poppy is the nearest to the original which the club used.
