My name's Mark Brewer and I'm currently in my final year of university, and as part of my final year I'm conducting research on New Balance and their recent brand extension into football.

 

I'm extremely interested as to what passionate football fans like ourselves think about the brand extension of New Balance into football, and in doing so it will help me to complete my questionnaire and come to a conclusion.

Done.  Based on my limited knowledge of New Balance, aren't they known for running shoes?  If so, I suppose branching into football is a reasonable thing to do for them.

I got new balance running shoes, which have done me fine through those cold dark nights pounding the roads, due to get another pair in next week or so, won't hesitate getting another new balance pair, if price right, see no reason why they wouldn't branch into football boots

They didn't just branch off into football though they let warrior break into the market then bought warrior.

Yeah, I was aware of that.  I guess I'm looking at them as entire brand, not just as warrior, which of course ended already.  But good point to mention.  Definitely taken on board.  Thanks
