Apologies, I forgot to put the date. Yes, an Old Firm game from March, 1953. It was a Scottish Cup match which Rangers won 2-0 and the attendance was 95,000.

95,000 and that was the official attendance. So probably about 105,000 inside Ibrox that day.

Cheers for posting. Agreed 1960s. Possibly early as there doesn’t seem to be the cover of the Copland Road Terracing which was built in the mid 1960s.

Looks like the second time around for Jock Wallace at Rangers. 

Sandy Jardine won Scottish Player of the Year in 1975 and 1986.

He was a fantastic defender at right back and as a sweeper. Yet is probably unknown outside Scotland.

Agree about it being Wallace's second stint at Rangers. Yes, Sandy is probably unknown outside Scotland. A shame as he, John Greig and Danny McGrain were three brilliant full-backs.

Here's one of my favourite Jock Wallace moments. Can you imagine a manager doing this nowadays. The media would be up in arms.

Yeah looks like your picture of Jock Wallace was at Hampden in late March 1984.

I remember being excited by us signing Duncan. He was quite an exciting player for Leeds and Everton. Sadly he should have stuck to jumping over mini's when it came to playing for us.
