That's true and it would have been good to go all the way in the league cup - just hope we make up for it in the FA Cup.

That said, even if Conte didn't think the likes of Costa and Hazard needed a rest, he DOES still need to get a look at the squad players. He needs to see players who may have to come in when we get injuries and suspensions and see if they are up to the job or not.

6 Points in the next two tough league games against Southamton & Everton and the Spammers defeat will soon be forgotten.

Went for Luiz he was great, had a really tough night with Antonio, second up probably as good was Begovi? made some great saves. Perhaps could have done better with the first goal but overall made some amazing saves.

Everyone knows EFL cup is toilet, you put out the yoof to see if they are any good or not and if you end up winning the damn thing then hurray! 'Cos a trophy is a trophy but let's face it, the PL is a priority.

We hardly put out the youth?

Aina was the only one.  Chalobah has 100+ senior appearances.  Would have preferred to play a couple more to be honest.  Played near a first team and didn't play to any discipline while I was watching.  Second half/bit of the first.

Haven't voted because I was only half watching.  Was disappointed with Oscar/Willian.
