Thursday at 21:421 day I don't think the so called slap was a red card and I don't think the one for Mexico was either. I can forgive the red card given to Mexico though. Playing the slap in slow motion is always going to look worse than full speed. The Mexico defender knew what he was doing though, he took out the South African player because he was going to pass for a tap in. He wasn't the last man, but I still think he stopped a goal scoring opportunity. Edited Thursday at 21:431 day by Scott Harris
2 hours ago2 hr Team USA are fit and fast and confident and playing as a team and they are all putting in lots of effort. Poch is a good manager for their fitness and willingness.
2 hours ago2 hr It’s refreshing to see how hard the US is working and the off the ball running. We can talk about the quality all day long, but compared to Chelsea effort, this is great.
1 hour ago1 hr The US were running on adrenaline in that first half. They've calmed down now and basically just sitting on what they have to keep themselves fresh.
1 hour ago1 hr Poch is looking like Russell Crowe, getting fatter every day and the long hair and I thought the ref looked like Will Ferrell……US looked decent but Paraguay are sh*te both defensively and in attack. They were never going to recover 3 goals and really the score should be 6 or 7 …Still Canada earned a point…
1 hour ago1 hr 3 minutes ago, Scott said:That Gio goal was filthy.Wouldn’t have been able to do that in the 60s with the balls we played with then…especially when wet and someone forgot to apply the dubbin
1 hour ago1 hr The draw was fixed for the US so they at least get out of their group and the backhander from Donald. I don’t see them doing much against the big teams TBH, maybe last 16 and last 8 if they are lucky.
