To be honest I think it was the right call. Madueke is a wide player, Foden and Palmer isn’t really.

Madueke, even though he’s not any better than these two, is more suitable for the system Tuchel wants to play.

At least we won’t see 5 attacking midfielders hogging the central space, which is something I think Tuchel tried to avoid.

I’m very pleased with what I’ve seen last night. I think we’ll do well this year, semi’s I reckon.

Been here before. They performed against poor opposition with a pretty clueless defence. Iran put 5 past Costa Rica. We'll only know the truth against quality opposition.

But we now have no other option when Madueke is well, Madueke or Saka cant play due to injury.

He has set himelf up with no other options to change the way a game is going, he has filled the squad with his players that suit his one way of playing. Take othere players that can change a game, have an impact, change the formation/style.

He has left 4 players at home that could do all that in Foden, Palmer, Warton and Gibbs-white. Its just so idiotic

I know TT is well regarded on here, but I was more than happy to see him gone especially after the start to that season. . Little did I know it would get worse!
