St Etienne will play at least their next Ligue 1 home game behind closed doors after their last match was interrupted because of fireworks lit in the stands of the Geoffroy Guichard Stadium, the French League said on Monday.

The LFP ruled that St Etienne home games would be played without spectators until its final ruling on May 18, four days after the club's next home match.

The St Etienne v Monaco game was stopped for almost half an hour amid the crowd trouble on Saturday before Monaco wrapped up a 4-1 win.

Les Verts are battling against relegation, lying 18th in the standings as they occupy the playoff relegation spot.

They next travel to third-placed Stade Rennais and Nice before hosting Stade de Reims on 14th  May.

St Etienne are back in the relegation play off spot. Three points away from the relegation spots and also three points away from the team immediately above them.

St Etienne were relegated at the weekend.

St Etienne have started life in the French second tier with a defeat and two draws. They are currently bottom of that division!

They play Le Havre at home tomorrow

St Etienne were beaten 6-0 at home to Le Harve today.

They had three players sent off, including their England U21 goalkeeper Etienne Green. It was already 3-0 when Green was sent off.

Carlisle Utd went down 2-1 away to Stevenage today.

St Etienne drew 2-2 on Monday with Pau away and beat Bordeaux 2-0;at home yesterday.

Carlisle Utd won 2-1 against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, whilst St Etienne went down by the same scoreline to Guingamp.

Carlisle beat Fleetwood 4-2 on pens last mid week in a Football League Trophy Group Stage Match.
 

They then drew 1-1 away at Newport on Saturday. In the League.

Carlisle beat Grimsby in midweek, then drew 0-0 with Crewe Alexandra today.

St Etienne drew 2-2 with Grenoble Foot 38 at home.

This is not DC United’s year.  Rooney as head coach is not working.

Sutton United drew 1-1 with 10 man Walsall thanks to a late equaliser from Chelsea youth product Jacob Maddox. The bastard. 

With the forthcoming break for the World Cup, I'll go and watch my local non-league team Welling United. A bus journey and a 15 minute walk from where I live. There is a great pub near the ground and two great bars inside.

A 2-0 away win at Tranmere today for Carlisle Utd.

St Etienne went out of the French Cup on penalties to Rodez yesterday.
