Then let the tribunal deal with it, if they agree with your lot, then we pay more, if they agree with us, then we don't pay anymore. I don't see why you have to be so petty about it.

If you were selling Ampadu now, based on some of the crap that you willingly pay £30m for, surely you would want at least £20m for him.  Petty? Even £3m is a lot for Exeter City and the fact that you have withheld a payment for six months sadly speaks volumes of the attitude prevailing at Premiership level. It's no wonder that most genuine football fans in the Football League refer to the Premiership as the Premiersh*te.

Maybe, but if we couldn't get that much, i wouldn't then go and whinge about the other club not paying as much as we wanted for him. It's up to the club to get the money the player is valued at. Like i said, if the tribunal agree with your lot, then we pay more, if they don't, then we don't pay more, end of story. 

You say things like "£3m is a lot for Exeter City" which is true, but if Chelsea don't feel like they have to pay that much, then we shouldn't have to pay it or feel guilty about not paying it. It's not up to us to look after your clubs finances.

Yeah, it's called bitterness because we have something you don't have. If lower league football fans hated the Premier League so much, why do they celebrate so much when they get promoted to it ?
