Man we were horrible second half.....but hey we are through and its all good with me. But man once Again it was evidently clear we are fighting the refs....or rather they hate us and are adament in f**king us over.........my Brother is a Gunner and even he cant fathom how in every game we get done for for nothing. I also watched the utd game in split screen and man they have it good.......as soon as Bristol scored the ref was all utd......a legit goal got canceled for Bristol.....pogba should have been sent off......pogba dives into a player and gets FK that resulted in their goal......and many many more.

You cant give me one f**king decent ref in pl......not one.

Thought our passing was absolutely shocking this evening. Ability to play through mid field nearly non existent.

I know Fab had an assist but he was one of the worst offenders, completely off the pace in H2. I think our best side does not include Fabregas.

Kennedy looked great going forward but useless defensively. Really good and energetic going forward though.

Ampadu an obvious positive, calm, steady and strong, well worth his spot as a central defender. Distribution only average, yes he completed 87/88 passes but the vast majority of those were to Cahill or Rudiger. Nothing creative.

Cahill is also looking more off the pace this season than I have previously seen.

Drinkwater worked very hard but was never dominant

Pedro and Batman didn't really cut it up front.

and the whole team had so many bad passes so many long balls to no one.

But we won. And two good goals, about the only good things all night.

Bang on with every assessment.

Anyone with Christensen in their line up needs to see a shrink. If the kid goes down we are ABSOLUTELY f**kED. We have no other ball playing defender with Luiz injured. Thank God for Alonso's sus[pension and hopefully Kante gets a rest.

We have an Ampadu :JC_doubleup:

A win is a win I guess but I thought we were really poor, especially in the second half until Morata and Hazard - and Bakayoko - came on. We seemed to be swamped in midfield and our squad players with one or two exceptions didn't really put anyone under pressure.

I understand why Conte did it but a Kante-less midfield is dicing with trouble. Bournemouth were far quicker and sharper to the ball.

Didn't realize that Morata received yellow yesterday after his celebration, but what was really wrong with it? He was celebrating his pregnant wife, also it's legit to see a player picking up the ball and putting inside his shirt.

Really stupid decision to show him a yellow for that.

It wasn't for that. After that he rook the ball out and threw it away, rather then hand it back.

Morata banned for his stupid celebration.

Misses Everton now.

Brainless.

Brainless refereeing, yes. It wasn't a brainless celebration for sure. Btw, he gave yellow card to the Bournemouth guy too, for no reason.

I thought we played a really sloppy game, the grinding out a 1:0 thinking will cost us big time down the track. I don't think it was Conte's idea to contain and protect the lead, but players just got too comfortable and let Bournemouth back into the game, especially in the second half. Our cause wasn't helped by a half fit Drinkwater and Cesc in front of the defence, but we really didn't pressure them in the second half. The ending was just hilarious, I'm pretty sure Eddie Howe was planning for the OT, before he would blink a couple of nice passes and Hazard played that nice combo with Morata, and game was over. They are developing into a pretty awesome partnership, as soon as Hazard got the ball, Morata knew where the pass was going, and where the goal could go. I don't understand the yellow card, from what I could see he didn't jump into the crowd to celebrate, or made any rude gestures. I suppose he could do with a winter break, so I'm not holding it against him.

Almost like exchanging one flamboyant hairstyle for another, haven't seen much from him before yet apart from the Defoe challenge looked competent.

I couldn't make it out from what I saw, it didn't look like he went into the crowd yet there was a lot of delay before play re-started.

Stupid in the context of the Bournemouth chap getting booked though.

Through to the semis and a draw against the gooners keeps it interesting.United getting done late on made my night lol The next game early sat will see a few changes.

He needs to shave his teenage bum fluff off his face. The best thing I can say about his performance is by the end of 90 minutes I was more worried about Cahill or Rudiger slipping up than I was the 17 year old kid.

I still consider Ethan Ampadu to be an Exeter City player. He's not yours until he's paid for! I believe Exeter were only asking £3m. Because you wouldn't pay up it will now go to Tribunal, and I hope that Tribunal teaches you a lesson in stinging you for a lot more!

We know he's currently the best teenager in the Country and your name is mud at Exeter.
