Like him a lot. Seems solid in the games I've seen him play except against the dippers. He was atrocious in that game.

He was good in the game against Barca though.

Think it has to be him OR Rugani, not both. For the age, the fact Sarri has worked with him before and a similar price floating about would rather we go for Rugani. 

If we are going to play a back 4 this season do we really need a centre back?

I doubt both would leave though, even if one leaves still leaves us with four centre backs.

Since we're in the Europa League plus all the other cup competitions, having 5 players is better should the unthinkable happens as well as giving us the flexibility to switch to a back 3 without worrying too much

I think if we play a three, Dave counts as a CB as well. Therefore we still only need 4. Andreas, Rudiger, Cahill will be three. I can't see us moving Gary on as he is homegrown. Luiz will leave I think, Zouma is still a question mark. Does he have the skill and composure on the ball to play Sarriball? I'm not sure. If we purchase another CB I can't see him staying.

I think Manolas is a good option but I can't help but feel a right sided CB pushes Andreas back down the pecking order. A left sided CB (preferably left footed) suits our long term squad better. Romagnoli is the dream but he just signed a new contract.

I think Zouma will be sold too.

One of my most favorites defenders. He has a big heart, leadership and defending skills. 

Plus his goals against Barcelona

Dave should stick to RB imo. His crosses are mint. I mean Alonso was our LWB and he's as slow as you can get for a fullback. Dave doesn't have to beat a man if our RW can actually push the opponent back.
