Mikel has to be the most underappreciated chelsea player of all time. 

It is a shame he ended up leaving put the back door in the end. We never seem to give players testimonials anymore either which I think is a real shame. 

He had some great games, he had some awful games, but I don't think you could ever question his commitment.

Inspirational story to be honest.

He'd would have done a much better job than any midfielder bar Kante last season.

Could be waiting for him to retire although I'm not 100% sure how testimonials work. 

We didn't appreciate how good he was until he left and we got Bakayoko, looked more fleshy but completely out of depth compares to JOM.
