There was one nice contrast between Sunday at Selhurst Park and yesterday at The Bridge though. A good number of Arsenal fans were in our end on Sunday, without a hint of trouble. There were two BVB supporters in MH Upper last night, and that created a definite hint of trouble. Nothing came of it, but it was such a let down that three lads were going off at the couple, a man and a woman. The Germans obviously got their tickets from a tout, but there they were so it was pleasing that quite a few of us stood up for them.

If fairness to the lads who didn't like that Dortmund fans were in the Chelsea end, they got the message and made up with the Germans in a nice way during the second half. I hope women's football steers clear of the bad kind of tribalism.

Away to Aston Villa in the semi-final of the FA Cup. Game will be played on 16 April.

I was working around the corner when this hit, I went and sat in my car for 15 minutes (in my defence, I couldn’t do the job whilst it’s pissing down). 

 

Tickets for the Barca game are on sale now. I’ve just had a delightful time in the VWR.

Cheers. Hope to go along. Depends on when the game is played. Will go if it's played on the 23rd. Won't be able to go on the 22nd as will be at Bletchley Park that day. For me age old dilemma of football v history.

There should be a rule in place whereby Chelsea matches don't clash with me attending history events!
