Considering it. My uncle works round the back of Kingsmeadow so we can park there for free and walk up. No trains for me!

Have bought a seat in the West Stand. So two Chelsea games on consecutive days. Hopefully both wins. As for trains, hopefully no strikes and fortunately I don't have to pay to travel in London. A benefit of getting old!

Wonder what sort of attendances we'll get at the Bridge I would guess about 20,000. It's a big ask despite the heroics of the Lionesses for the Bridge to be sold out as we are starting from about 2,500 at Kingsmeadow.  The club should advertise more heavily that a junior is under 20 and only £2 to get in I could see groups of girls going together rather than what it's now predominantly mums and daughters.

Edit: Just looked at the website only MH lower and Westview available for the West Ham game at the moment surely WH lower would have been better for atmosphere although presumably the club are looking to see if there's a big demand and other parts of the ground will be filled.

Club website says the following on the ticket information for this match:

Ticket Selling Order

The selling order for this fixture are as follows:

West Stand Lower

Shed Lower

Matthew Harding Lower

East Lower North

East Lower South

Shed Upper

Matthew Harding Upper

West Stand Upper

East Stand Upper

Given only MH lower and Westview are being sold at the moment it might be a load of rubbish. I agree it's likely that they will open up more sections based on demand. Would be great to get 20k+

f**king cancer.

https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/statement-by-ann-katrin-berger

Chelsea Women and Germany goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger has just released the below statement...

‘I wanted to update fans directly that unfortunately, after four years of living cancer-free, there has been a recurrence detected in my thyroid.

‘I’ve said before that as a sportsperson you have to fight every day to be the best you can be and that’s something I will continue to do and I hope by sharing my journey, I can help others that find themselves in a similar situation.

‘I am working closely with my club doctor and specialist in London and my treatment will start this week. I remain positive that my treatment will be as effective as last time and I’m looking forward to returning to the pitch and seeing you all at Kingsmeadow and Stamford Bridge.’

Everyone at Chelsea is behind her during this difficult time and the club will provide any support we can to help her make a speedy recovery.

We look forward to seeing her back between the posts for the Blues as soon as possible.

All the best to her, hopefully this treatment will catch on.

I can’t wait for @Zeta to start his Womens Prediction League…

Well, there is one in the club's app. Or at least there was last season (and I did better than the men's predictions...), now the club has been unable to sort things out for the bew season. The restrictions are blamed for this

I couldn't name even 1 player in the women's team. I wouldn't be much good at predictions for them.

Not that I'm any good for the mens team either.

Ah you surley must know of Super Fran Kirby!

Our Women's team are all conquering. Think of all the points Zeta would have to hand out given 98% of Chelsea win predictions will be correct.

But also some nut job predicting 14-0 could be right! How fun!

A great goal. I was at the game and was standing level with the edge of the penalty area and had a great view of Sam's volley. A wow moment.

She definitely has that X factor

She does that. A great partnership with Fran Kirby.

I always picked either Sam Kerr or Fran Kirby as our first scorer, got masses of points that way.

I believe there are some rules about the maximum number of games the Bridge is allowed to host in a year.  Not sure how many that is. I wonder if there is a way to increase that to allow the Women's side to call the Bridge their home as well?

Todd and Co were left very unimpressed by the facilities the women's side currently have, and Stamford Bridge is the home of Chelsea football club, which includes our amazing women's team.

Do the women's team get to use Cobham as well? If they don't that should be changed as well.

I think it’s good the Women have their own home to be honest. They unfortunately probably wouldn’t be able to sell out enough of Stamford Bridge regularly enough to justify playing there too.

Good, he can spend some money on making it all better.

They do, Roman did look after and improve the Womens team a million times over.

Would be interested to see how sales of tickets would go at the Bridge. Would be a huge statement about our commitment to the women's team as well, in this aspect making them equal to the men's team.

I think after the initial novelty wore off it’d drop.
