I’ve just found her to blow too hot and cold this season. There will be odd games she wins on her own but plenty of other games where she does f**k all. Still a young player though, the consistency will hopefully come.
April 27, 20242 yr Wow, SB sold out. POTS for me would be Charles, a consistent high performer this season.

April 29, 20242 yr Watched the extended highlights can see why there was a second yellow against Buchanan although it could just have been a free kick yet she certainly treads on the other players toes. Also no problem with the penalty our defender I think Jess Carter pushes away with her arm / elbow, admittedly not all refs would give this. Strangely we did not seem to get into Barcelona it felt like we were playing for a draw and came unstuck without enough quality to change things.

May 14, 20242 yr https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/seven-blues-called-up-for-lionesses Seven Chelsea players have been included in England Women's latest squad as Aggie Beever-Jones' impressive form for the Blues has landed her first official senior call-up. Beever-Jones, Millie Bright, Jess Carter, Niamh Charles, Hannah Hampton, Lauren James and Fran Kirby have all been selected by England head coach Sarina Wiegman. The Lionesses face France in a double-header over May and June in UEFA Women's Euro 2025 qualifying group A3, before they take on the Republic of Ireland and Sweden in July in their final qualifying matches. Wiegman's final squad for the latter two fixtures will also be taken from the 28 players named today. Lauren scored in England's last game, a 2-0 win over Republic of Ireland This means Blues forward Beever-Jones could make her senior international debut over the summer, after impressing at Under-23 level and scoring 11 WSL goals for us this season. Beever-Jones was part of the England Under-23 squad which travelled to Spain for a joint training camp with the senior team back in February and was included as an unused substitute for the Lionesses' 7-2 win over Austria. However, this morning was the first time she has been officially called-up and included in the squad from the start of camp. Fit-again Bright is also back in the Lionesses fold for the first time since October after recovering from a knee injury. England currently sit second in Group A3 after taking four points from their opening two matches, just behind France. The Lionesses face the French in Newcastle on Friday 31 May before travelling to Saint-Etienne for a return match the following Tuesday, June 4. The seven Blues included will report to St. George's Park on Monday 27 May.
