Silva was great again. James had another good game. Mount was full of energy and so very nearly scored the winner. But I'd give MOTM to Kovacic. Kept running all match long, nicked a lot of bull and set up a number of attacks.

Hard one I think. No one stood out for the whole game.

1st half Kante looked the only player who had any drive and purpose in running with ball, and still made several crucial toe-pokes when Spurs got in dangerous areas. His positioning and timing in those situations is superb.

2nd half Kova and Mount provided the drive and guile in midfield. I'm going to vote for Kovacic because I hate him........ Apparently.

Mason Mount and it's that simple. Without him we have maybe 1 shot on target, he really stands out for me in the last few games and if only he had passed to Ziyech... Ah well still the MOTM for me. This is Mount before the assist against Rennes and before this game:

Not a coincidence that he stands out for me personally.

When nobody in particular dazzles, you can bank on Mount to twinkle.

Got to be James for me, he posed the biggest threat with his deliveries into the box and absolutely muscled the Spurs attackers when they countered us.
