Guest Brian M
Okay, so we know at least one striker is coming in the summer, so who would you like it to be? Here are my three draft picks (in no particular order): Eto (with Shev going the other way) - chances of it happening if RA wanted him: 70% Messi (with Shev going the other way) - chances of it happening if RA wanted him - 10% Zlatan - chances of it happening if RA wanted him - 80% (With Teves coming in as a dark horse as he's just getting better and better and could be an easy mark if West Ham go down)
View With A View
Do you know why West Spam is so hostile every time we visit Upton Park? It is because each time they go down, we plunder them - Johnno and Joe Cole. So i am sure they will be livid if we go after Tevez too, their Player of the Year. Bollock.. Here's the best package if it is true. Barcelona wants Sheva and swap him for E'to ( hurray !) Ballack is involved in an exchange deal for Deco or Iniesta ( win win for all) I think Frank Rikjaard is one of the manager from the best team category that can do business with us since we sanctioned the move of Guddy. Many of the others like Manure, gunners and the Scousers are just too afraid that they may strengthen us when their players move to the Bridge. I think this will be the best arrangement. Otherwise, Milan can have Sheva and Crespo for Kaka in return, plus Massimo Oddo. Also, we may take a look at Bordeaux starlet Julien Faubert, the 23-yr-old Moroccan international right back. He has been outstanding in that position.

Guest Brian M
is this not a repost of something you asked about a month ago? That was a 'do you want a new striker' rather than a 'which striker do you want', because it's become clear to all of us in the last month that Shev isn't working (remember we thought he was coming good) and that a new striker for next season is a necessity not a luxury. Unfortunately for us, a month is a long time in football...
BackInBlue
If Mancs take Tottenhem's best player away for 16m why can't we. Lets get Berbatov i say.

mad_mac
I still think that you had the same list of strikers that you wanted, and I remember saying that Zlatan has always been your choice, and Eto'o would be no good because he will be away during the ACN so really we have no real choice, just a list you felt may suit who you want. Zlata would not suit, and Eto'o isa giant ego who wouldbe gne during the ACN which is not helping our cause at all Scott

g3.7
messi isn't really a striker. could play as a second striker but even that is arguably not his favoured position. I would prefer to keep saha here and sign a second striker/ no.10. so I'll pick anderson. again. whatever we do, getting rid of shevchenko would be near the nottom of my list. Dorset
Tevez. Tevez? Here at Chelsea? Well, that is a good idea!
Enrico
Considering the way we play, we can't just get any 'second striker'. We already have the best in the world and looked how he's trying to come to terms with playing for us. So we need someone used to playing with a big striker. Kevin Phillips. bosnian_chels_support
Etoo will never move to the bridge, thats what he says! Messi or other Barca player either! So my choice Adriano, Henry, or no one, lets give the youth a chance, with Sahar and Sinclair! Crespo for Adriano is realistic!

I see exactly where you are coming from Henry and totally agree. However, being realistic after his hat-trick today, I can't see the Baggies swapping Kevin Phillips for Sheva. Perhaps if we offer cash as well ?

Chippy
I like Eto'o but fear the ACN will already disrupt our team enough and also remember how he slagged us off, I really like Berbatov and think he could play alongside Drogba and form a good partnership, that said I would still like Sheva to stay, I dont believe all the crap about him not wanting to play at Anfield and how many times are the press going to apologise for the lies about him before people learn to ignore it, ok hes getting on and has not been the player we imagined he would so far but nor was Drogba in his first season and look what he's done this term, I dont think Sheva can be as good as he was at Milan but I do still think he can be a top striker in the Prem for a couple of seasons if we play a bit more to his strengths, a back up striker younger and Hungrier is all I would be looking for and a few more run outs for Ben Sahar in the lesser competitions or easier looking games. Main areas for me are Center back and maybe a wide player, I dont really know what to think of Robben, can we afford to have such an injury prone player in and out of the team? I would still keep Paulo as RB as Diarra Mikel and Maka cant all play the Holding roll and Diarra is a handy RB for back up.
