Chelsea Football Club is delighted to confirm that forward Aggie Beever-Jones has signed a new contract with the Blues until the summer of 2026, with the option to extend for a further year.

A product of the Chelsea Academy, Beever-Jones signed her first professional contract with the Blues in July 2021 before going on loan to Bristol City for the 2021/22 campaign. She signed a contract extension in 2022 ahead of a further loan spell with Everton during the 2022/23 season.

On her return to Chelsea this season, the 20-year-old has captured the attention with her fine form in front of goal. Her efforts have been duly rewarded and the young forward has put pen to paper on a new contract until the summer of 2026, further committing her future to the Blues.

Having progressed through our Academy, Beever-Jones made her senior debut for the Blues in a 4-0 away win against Aston Villa in the 2020/21 campaign. In the same season, she was handed her first start for the club in a 5-0 victory over London City Lionesses in the Women’s FA Cup.

Consecutive loan spells with Bristol City and Everton would follow before Beever-Jones returned to Chelsea on a permanent basis ahead of the 2023/24 campaign. She scored her first Blues goal during a 4-2 league victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at Kingsmeadow in October.

After opening her account for Chelsea, Beever-Jones conjured an impressive run of five league goals in as many matches which saw her nominated for the WSL Player of the Month in November, while she has managed six goals in 12 appearances so far this season.

https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/article/aggie-beever-jones-my-cherished-moments-at-the-bridge

A lifelong Chelsea fan and an Academy graduate, Aggie Beever-Jones experienced the stuff of dreams when she scored for the Blues at Stamford Bridge last season. She shares her story before our return to SW6 to play Manchester City next weekend...

I used to go to Stamford Bridge with Grandad when I was little. But when I was watching, I never thought one day I would be playing and scoring on that pitch.

To hear the fans shouting my name now is quite surreal. I'm one of them. I'd be cheering this team in the same way. The atmosphere at the Bridge is something special. To experience that again this year is really exciting.

I've got to admit that I try to block a lot of it out on a matchday; if I think about it too much as a fan then I can get in my own head.

But when I started my first WSL game for Chelsea against Liverpool at the Bridge last year...I knew I had to cherish that moment. I could feel the heat on my face from the flames that shot up when we walked out, and then to score in a 5-1 win meant it was the perfect day.

Let me tell you something: the night before that game I thought hard about scoring. I was manifesting it! So, for it to happen? Yeah...that was crazy! When LJ put the ball in, I just knew that it was my moment and was able to put it away.

I saw my family in the crowd celebrating; it was a moment for us all to cherish. A full circle moment, for sure.

I’m really looking forward to returning to the stadium this season in the WSL. Whenever we play Man City, it’s a good battle and this game will not be any different. So, what better place to play them than at the Bridge?

These are the games we want to play in as Chelsea players. They can be title-deciders. Hopefully, we come away with the three points – and having our supporters there will give us an extra edge.
