From what we've seen so far Loz I don't think Kante would work in a Marescaball system. He would play him as a "reverted" left winger instructed to either put crosses in for Sterling to get on the end of, or, pass it back to the keeper.

Yet you'd still have more faith in him doing both effectively tha  you do Mudryk and Badiashille!

 

 

Should have kept Rudiger too.

Blame the Tories for that, we couldn't keep him.

Weren't allowed to enter into any contract negotiations under the Tory freeze. Christensen went too.

Yep, they were negotiating the contract but took too long, thinking RA won't get sanctioned. Bit like how we ended up with brexit, nahhhh...it won't happen and bang!

Shoot ourselves in the foot, and somehow surprised afterwards. 

The club lost quite a bit of money on those guys...shame really.
