September 26, 20241 yr Getting publicity now. Liverpool youth system set to break their wage structure again?
October 7, 20241 yr A video of this lad cropped up in my YouTube feed today and between his stats and the clips I was left thinking that he should be in our starting 11 NOW! Between him and Paez and Estevao, it's hard not to get excited about what could be ahead, but then again, haven't we seen/heard about this kind of potential before? Some of the blurry footage made me think I was watching video of Pat Nevins' Chelsea heyday.

February 9, 20251 yr We need to be making plans to get this kid signed up long term. I know it's hard to properly judge somebody so young, but you just know with some players, and I feel like he is uniquely talented. Promise him a pathway into the first team, because if we lose him, I have a horrible feeling we will be constantly looking back on what could have been for an entire generation. Knowing these owners though, they will want him tied down to a long contract so they can sell him when he's 18. They will say "we had to do it for PSR"... Edited February 9, 20251 yr by Scott Harris

Yeah it would be more sensible for him to just to cut the mid man out and make the move to a Liverpool or Barca, like that Rio kid did.

Looking back…….you mean like we are with Musiala?
February 14, 20251 yr The fact this kid looks a bit like young Messi is enough for me. Give him a £200k per week contract and some growth hormone injections NOW!

You can't really sign a youth player to long term contract. FIFA rules state that under-18s can only sign a maximum contract of 3 years. The directors won't be able to flog him for a decent price unless there is a bidding war, or he sees enough to stick around and sign a long-term contract on his 18th birthday - this is what happened with Acheampong. Thing is, there's no realistic path to the first team despite his obvious talent. He's less than 2 years younger than both Kendry Paez and Estevao who are bettering his numbers in the same role/position, despite playing senior football. Unless he can re-invent himself as a backup to Palmer, I doubt he'll make the first team. Edited February 16, 20251 yr by SydneyChelsea
May 14May 14 The number of balls he put into the box, only for team mate to f**k up. Be like playing for us with Jackson or Delap on the end of those crosses.I know he's only 17, but if I was coach, I would be sticking him in the first team ahead of Garnacho and Neto. We'll probably end up losing him To Bayern Munich or bloody Liverpool.

The quality is already there, he's a natural born talent, but he needs to develop power, mainly in his ball striking ability. He's still striking the ball like a kid, and he's nowhere near ready build wise. He would get bullied in the prem next season if he played.

But I would still have rather seen him coming off the bench for the last 20 minutes than either Neto or Garnacho.
