Not really.

Elliot, Endo, Quansah, Tsimikas, and Jones playing.

Ah yes - just realised that Sofascore hadn't updated their "possible line ups" to "confirmed".

Good, in that case we'll have a chance of getting something out of this !

In my parallel universe our enigmatic No. 15 outruns their defence and does not fluff his lines, but scores for the fourth time in three games.😎

Looks like a full strength starting XI for Liverpool.

Not so. 2 of the first choice back 4 are benched, normally Konate and Robertson start. As I expected he rotated them out.

He also replaced the entire main midfield 3. Mac Allister and Szbozali benched, Gravenberch left out all together.

Diaz is also bench, he and Salah are their main go to attackers.

Still a strong side, but when you leave out your whole midfield then we need to see ours step up. Unfortunately Maresca has crippled it and our right side by playing Caicedo at RB.

Cucu on his own is no match for Salah either, we needed man marker vs Salah along with Cucu to double up, imo.

Brighton doing us a massive favour as it stands.

PL has been so strange this year. I imagine several more "surprises" in the remaining fixtures, especially as the pressure ramps up.

We probably have a much better chance of Top 4/5 than most of us think.

Probably the weakest Liverpool side we could ask for, 3 points today no excuses

It is not like that. We haven't won any of the big rivals for a couple of years. It is much more of a psychological hurdle. Liverpool has a habit of winning Chelsea just like we did 10 years ago.

Would be massive to win today even if Liverpool has a couple of starters sidelined.

Come back and post that last bit again in 3 hours... ;)
