Defence wasn't a priority for Martin in the PL. Play it out from the back regardless of lacking the talent to do so. Oppo goals rained in. Got away with it in the Championship, exposed in the PL. And never ever took responsibility.

Heard a lot of rumbling about Dyche coming in. He’s efficient but the football would be dire.

Now Nuno is available I do wonder if the 49ers would want to make a bit of a statement or wether he’d be hanging out for another PL job…
