Who was the first Italian to play in the Premiership?

Andrea Silenzi anyone! icon_lol.gif What a joker he was.

Lets not forget Roberto Mancini, Padovano, Eranio and Lombardo too. All top players.

The title of the thread is:
Italians that have graced the Premiership?

So why are Panucci, Taibi and Materazzi on the list?

I for one found my experience watching the Premiership to be vastly enhanced by Massimo Taibi. Particularly by his performance against Southampton. icon_twisted.gif
