...one of these squads: (updated after the final group matches, 12/12/07)

Olympiacos

Celtic

Roma

Lyon

Fenerbahce

(cannot be Liverpool, Schalke or Arsenal)

don't want to jinx anything, but none of those sides scare me at the moment, not the way we've been grinding out victories the past few months.

The only teams that frighten me a bit are Roma and Sevilla. Both are pretty good and Roma atleast is very capable of scoring goals. Someone would have to take care of Totti. But don't get too close cause he'll dive icon_rolleyes.gif

Something tells me we wont get Rangers or Celtic though. Would love to face them but I don't think we will icon_sad.gif

It seems that UEFA have introduced a new rule for the seeding of the quarterfinalists, the top four teams will be the ones who have scored more points from the groups stage and the last 16

These are the current standings with the teams in the bottom half of the list having played one game less. We could find ourselves out of the top 4 even by winning both legs of next round. Not that it would make much difference at that stage.

FC Porto 11

Liverpool 10

Chelsea 12

Schalke 04 8

Real Madrid 11

Olympiakos 11

AC Milan 13

Celtic 9

Barcelona 11

Rangers 7

Lyon 7

Man Utd 15

Roma 10

Inter Milan 12

Fenerbahce 8

PSV 7

Sevilla 12

Arsenal 10
