Guest Brian M
I've always liked this Grant, fella. Excellent taste in players! Inter reject £60M Chelsea bid for Ibrahimovic, Maicon tribalfooball.com - December 30, 2007 Chelsea have failed with a stunning £60 million offer for Inter Milan stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Maicon. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich sees Ibrahimovic as an ideal replacement for Didier Drogba, while defender Maicon would solve their problems at right-back. Corriere dello Sport says Inter president Massimo Moratti turned down identical offers of £60 million from both Chelsea and Real Madrid for his star duo ahead of the January market. ecthelion
One of my friends was saying yesterday that Maicon is the fastest rightback in the world and some say that he is better than alves.Alves is better frm attacking point of view but Maicon is best at both attacking and defending.. At the moment he is 26. Grant shuld try his best to secure Maicon. However of Ibrahimovic, i cannot say. We shuld go for someone else as Ibra is going to be really really expansive. But £30mill is too much for maiconand Ibra apiece. We shuldnt be buying any of these players as both of them are cuptied.
JT26CFC
i would doubt that inter would let Ibrahimovic go, he's ana amzing striker and even though they have cruz, suazo and crespo, they won't want to lose thier star stiriker. Especially since he's the one making both assissts and goals. Don't think going after inter's players is the best option.

Jimboola69
What garbage. No way did that bid happen. Zlatan is a great player but is also a total LOON who has disrupted every dressing room that he has been in.

Essien's Strike
ibrahimovic is the guy we should have bought rather than sheva imo. you dont buy the guy turning 30, you buy the guy turning 25 ffs.
TheWestwayWonder
sweet god, tribal football At least make your fictitious prices that were supposedly offered and supposedly rejected in proportion to the talent of the players involved. Surely that is step like 2 or 3 when concocting something remotely believable

Guest Brian M
If only Cappy, if only. I've been dreaming of him pulling on the Chelsea #9 shirt for longer than I can remember, and I swear that nearly half my posts on the CSR were about him! (The other half were about my future wife, Cameron Diaz, naturally). What a signing he would be if we could get him in the summer. If Drogba goes then let Zlatan take his place. .......................................Zlatan .....................Anelka.........................Berbatov One Mighty Zlatan!
