bjd
...at the moment im just glad we have got that albatross called Liverpool FC off from around our necks. Tomorrow i will dream about Moscow (looking dodgy for me right now i have to say) but we exorcised some ghosts tonight and its time to move onwards. I have let those c**ts get under my skin for 3 years now and whilst football should never be about revenge i honestly dont know what id have done if those f**kers had beaten us again tonight. Fans of Liverpool FC - The pleasure is all ours Im very drunk

I think there's a lot of us in this same club, guys. I'm just sobering up - well...er...slightly. Beating those bar stewards is like getting to the final twice - if you know what I mean. Beerqueen
yeah, agree. This was definitely like the final for me. Would OBVIOUSLY like to win the final but for me this was THE biggest game - beating them finally..............winning a semi................ anything else is a bonus -
TheWestwayWonder
Agreed, 100% with all of you. Obviously I would love to get ol' big ears, but 1. As bjd says, we got the albatross off our necks, even when it looked like their eternal luck was going to pull it out for them one more time 2. Liverpool wont be winning the Champions League. We wont have to listen to "SIX TIMES, WE WON IT SIX TIMES" from the greatest fans on earth 3. We had a fantastic atmosphere at the Bridge, fans in full voice all game with few exceptions. Sent that prat Ickie Stevie's words right back at him 4. The media muppet parade can finally shut their fat mouths. ANDY GRAY, ARE YOU LISTENING????!?!!? ....all make me a very, very happy man. And this day will live on in my memory, and im sure in that of everyone here, forever Heres to more famous European nights like it
MannyJello
a-farking-men! the prospect of going to penalty kicks against the scum AGAIN was too much to bear. i feel like we have now turned a corner against them when it comes to Europe. i truly think that for whatever reason, Jose let Rafa get under his skin, and that affected our play against pool the last 3 years. we always looked far too dour, scared to lose as opposed to playing to win. credit where due, Avram played to win, as he saw how positive we looked against manure this weekend, and i just think (can't believe i'm about to say it) he did a better job than Jose would have in that same situation. the scouse monkey is off our backs, and we will beat them the next time we play them in Europe once again! care-f'ing-free! The Brit
absolutely...great fans I thought...they were 3-1 down with 15 mins to go and half their end was empty, they missed babel's goal and could have missed their side getting through if they'd got one more...best supporters in the land
Tim
LOVED it when Gray pointed that out. Where was the rousing chorus of YNWA from the 'LIverpool faithful'? Nowhere. They were already busy trying to find a car to steal to get back to their northern slum.

BLUENUT
Of course I want us to go on and win the final but just beating those scouse c*nts was enough for me. Last night is right up there with the 97 final. Don't get me wrong, I've been to every final Chelsea have been in since then, and have seen us win the league, but last night, the atmosphere at the final whistle was just special. Well done lads! Jane
You're a very lucky little blighter Alan. If I was 35 years younger I think I would let you be my boyfriend then you could take me to all these big games and you (or your Dad) could pay for the tickets.
