We Are The Summer Time Blues!

I'm well over my nightmare at Gatwick....

....I have had a lot of time to think about our bad luck not getting to Moscow and I have accepted it.

That night couldn't really have been more painfull but it will remain one of my proudest memories!

Anyway as it stands, this time of the year is painfull and tedious for most football supporters.

For me personally there isn't much to do during these long summer months!!

Just earn a crust and spend too much time with my bird.......

....how much longer do I have to endure this!!!

PLEASE GOD BRING BACK THE FOOTBALL!!

There is the occasional night out with my mates, but really there f**k all going on!

Of course non-football people (this includes 99% of southern reds) wouldn't understand what my gripe is about.

But even though the sun is shining in the south-east and the streets are dotted with good looking summer-time girls (and some real pigs)....

.....I'm pretty miserable this time of the year!!!

The best thing I can think of is organising our first away trip to Wigan......

....just thinking about getting back in to the swing of it is so exiciting!!

Anyway you summer loving people you can stick your Pimms,Holidays,Music festivals,Sun cream,Wimbledon,Days on the beach,Ice creams and Magners over ice!

Give me some horrible, hostile away pub in some grim, cold Northern city anyday!

WE ARE THE FAMOUS!!

THE FAMOUS CHELSEA!!

Surely i'm not the only one who longs for the real stuff to start all over again!

Cheers!!

Rob

Going to a second round qualifier in the CL on Wednesday night IFK Göteborg v FC Basel - not the best game in the world but a game nevertheless.

The local league season is being played at the moment, so I've got football to watch, but I have to admit that I'm already pretty anxious about the coming Premiership season. Looking forward to see what and how Felipe will do.

I'm sorry I wont!!

Its just white lighting with ice......Its not big and its not clever!!!

Amen to that - cider is a drink for men who need help removing foul gases from their bowels.

There is a place for people who drink cider. It's called Ipswich.

ciders a girly drink :D

the summers been crap from a football point of view, no england at the euro's, the transfer markets been dead slow

and to top it all off the wathers been crap

Cider is NOT a girly drink :D I have never drunk cider until I took a sip from G4's Magners during the last p*ss-up, you know, just to see what the fuss is about. And it's too sweet for me.

Apart from that I concur with your assessment of this summer, Rob. But I can feel the season is approaching: I'm already worried about the Pompey match :D .

LOVE cider, but HATE Magners. It's too sweet, really gimmicky with the 'over ice' bullsh*t, and has made cider 'trendy', which just seems wrong.

I prefer the old staples of Strongbow or Blackthorn. Or, if you're really looking to get spangled, then a pint of the 8% scrumpy normally does the trick!

Gotta agree with you Tim. I don't LOVE cider, mind you, but some ciders are pretty good. Magners is pretty horrible, though. I prefer the dry ciders. Old Rosie is good.

Bullmers? Isn't that the same as Magners?

bulmers in ireland is the same as magners in england. bulmers in england is a different company, different taste. (not as good).

tim, first the terrible slur on gylenhaal and now this.:redcard:
