lauren
up to 3rd tonight - can they keep this going and finish top 3 or even top 6 and get into Europe?
loz
Top three no chance. Squad strength will let them down as the season goes on and they pick up injuries and suspensions. Top 6 would be one hall of an achievement and I think is maybe just beyond them however a top 10 finish is very possible and would be a great season or them. geezer
I really hope they can make a top 10 finish however if they do survive this season the real test will be next year as the second season has a tendency to be much harder. Very refreshing to see how well they're doing at the moment but let's hope they don't keep up their amazing record against London clubs when they come up against us. Dubzz 6
Yeh I think they'll do a Reading, have a tremendous first season and prove doubters wrong, then when expectations higher they fold :D
geezer
Dubzz, your milk carton looks like a version of me daddy dancing at the local disco.

Gem
Hull are doing great, I have nothing against them so its nice to see them doing well. However, I reckon they'll do a Wigan - first season, top 10 finish, second season, avoid the drop by the skin of their teeth.
PloKoon13
How good would it be if they did a Wigan? First half of the season they're our main title rivals ;) But then drop a bit :( But don't worry, they have Windass on the sidelines, ready to give the Dippers a good kicking. mad_mac
I'd really like Hull to do well this season. However, something like this happens every season. A few seasons back when titty sheringham was playing for Pompey they were top of the league after the first few weeks, but fell back to mid table mediocricy soon thereafter. I think the same will happen with Hull. It's just nice to see that all three teams that came up are not fodder for relegation already Scott
Maksimov
haha, it's from the coffee and t.v video, i'm sure you knew that :DBest music video ever! I wouldn't say it's the best ever, but it is a great video. Hammer & Tongs do make some great videos. As for Hull...it's refreshing to see the small clubs shaking up things near the top of the Premiership table. I think they will struggle during the busy schedule after Christmas, though. At least they know that they should finish above Spurs in any case. Edited October 22, 2008 by Maksimov
Gem
They've gone 1-0 up against West Brom. We've got them on Wednesay... should be a good game, especially as its at their place.

dkw
i f**king hate hull, hate the city and hate the people. been there several times to watch rugby league and their fans are utter w**kers. the only time ive been spat at and had coins threw at me at a rugby league game was by these cretins. hope it all goes tits up and they get relegated. saying that, loved them a couple of weeks ago when they turned arsenal over....im a complex, changeable person. loz
They have us next and then Utd after that - take three points out of six there (with the three coming on Saturday!) then they are in good shape!
ChrisC
Good luck to them, it's nice to see small teams doing so well and they play good attacking football. I can't decide whether I like seeing Hull do well or the Spuds lose the most. I think the latter.
midlandblue
I was at the Albion Hull game on Saturday and the score line flatters Hull, yes they were a decent team on the counter attack, but if Albion could put away thier chances Hull would have been dead and burried by half time. Hull are a big, strong, physical team who will cause us problems at set pieces, keeper is pretty decent also. But they have no pace and we should be able to leave them standing in midfield.
