jack h Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) Portsmouth were two nil up and comfortable then goofy takes a dive and scores a freekick.....you can guess whats happened since. The ref has given milan EVERYTHING tonight, disgraceful. p.s. next time some scouse moron comes out with the were the best supporters bollox - show them a tape of this game the atmosphere was the best ive seen in years, to0 bad the ref had to ruin it Edited November 27, 2008 by jack h
loz Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Never mind the game, my biggest concern is for the poor people of Italy mourning the mysterious disappearance of the countries finest pies. Ronaldinho's move from Spain to Italy has resulted in a phenomenal rise in the share price of Italian pastry!
Tim Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 What a game and what an atmosphere. Actually quite gutted for Pompey, they fully deserved to win that one. Johnson and Belhadj were immense down each flank and the free kick for Ronaldinho's goal was very very very harsh indeed.
4EVERCHELSEA Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) So upset for Pompey. 2-0 up with 6 left and they blow it. Ronaldinho shouldn't have had the chance to score. it wasn't a free kick. superb finish by Inzaghi for the leveller!! Edited November 27, 2008 by 4EVERCHELSEA
goose Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Unlucky Pompey, deserved the win. Milan shouldn't have had the free kick but it was a beauty. A certain Mr Kaka seem to forget to turn up.
Tim Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Yeah it didn't look like he was that up for a night in the rain in front of 20,000 baying Pompey fans did it...
Sheva Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Whatever you say though, that wasen't a free kick but my god didn't he hit that free kick! Pompey were brilliant down the flanks but the class of top class goal poacher and one of the best players of the decade got them back it.
Barn Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 It was weird watching that last night, I've never wanted another English club to win in Europe before but seeing the Pompey fans was like seeing us against Victoria Zizkov (or whoever the hell it was we played in our first European match for years). Was gutted for them but for some reason it always seemed to be on the cards.
geezer Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Real fans, real atmosphere. What chance of us getting the same back at the Bridge? None methinks.
BLUENUT Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Real fans, real atmosphere. What chance of us getting the same back at the Bridge? None methinks. Too many tourists on European nights nowdays at the bridge. Also.....I doubt we've even sold out the Cluj match yet.
geezer Posted November 28, 2008 Posted November 28, 2008 Too many tourists on European nights nowdays at the bridge. Also.....I doubt we've even sold out the Cluj match yet. Which given how crucial the match now is must be bordering on criminal especially as the tickets are also at a reduced price.
