  2. What i would normally say is that we stick with him but pass the captaincy on to someone else who is more likely to feature regularly. Unfortunateky we have bugger all leadership quality in our squad meaning there is no clear alternative. The fact that Enzo was our vice captain last season just shows he his good at rock, paper, scissors. He is an embarrassment as a club captain.

  4. I don't see why you believe they didn't do what Tuchel wanted, he had his teams do the exact same thing while at Chelsea, he had englams do it against Mexici and Norway, and praised them for their mental strength while doing it. Its how he always goes against big teams after nicking a goal, go deep, go conpact, fill the box with defenders and take off any outlets, rely on scrambling to a win. Its the most insane 40 minutes I've ever seen by a top coach in a big game, he got literally every single thing wrong. Its 100% on him as he was brought in to ensure this exact situation didnt happen, he even said himself thats what he was here to do, taking an unnecessary dig at Southgate, who I hope was sat watching it laughing his arse off.

  14. "Football is all about moments..." 72' Tuchel brought on Konsa for Gordon - that was the moment - Tuchel said I don't want England to try and get another goal. Wayne Rooney didn't quote Rhuud but he might have well as done. Tuchel f**ked up - he should walk.
  15. Lacroix isn't here and likely won't be if we can't sell and raise funds in time.
  16. What hijack? We haven't even made a bid have we. All that is being hijacked is unsubstantiated gossip by Younes and his mates.

  21. The White House has defended the Argentinian football team's right to free speech and the right to have their banner. Which is great news for all of us. Speaking to reporters on Friday, Giuliani referenced free speech protections in the US Constitution, saying: "We believe in our First Amendment rights here in the United States of America." Okay, So, lets get to it then. . . FIFA peace prize winner Donald Trump was mentioned more than 38,000 times in the latest batch of the Epstein files. Clearly this means that Trump is not a pedophile and has no connection to the Zionist blackmail operation. FIFA is not a corrupt organisation and it would be ridiculous to suggest that. I really like the first amendment although the advertising company known as google seems to struggle with the integrity of the amendment. First amendment - Freedom of Speech: Ensures individuals can express their thoughts and opinions without government interference.

  24. IF only we had a time machine and the money to buy a 23 year old Messi then all our problems would be solved. okay. thank you for your service.
  25. Messi is 39
  26. Hey why is A**x not allowed? How weird is that? Amsterdamsche Football Club Ajjax were an inspiration to all football lovers
  27. Not good enough the way that Tuchel managed the game plan, correct. This current Argentina side are not clever and they are very much a beatable team. But FiFa take care of their little Messi. So Argentina are clever in the way that they know how to bribe and compensate the FiFA financially. Spain are the AjAxxx of international football. A truly great team and a testimony to team football (just like those great A**x teams). They play as a team - unlike Portugal and France who have much better individual players than them but don't get the team ethos. AND as we know It is a team game and it is also a tournament and tournaments are not like everyday football. Club football to return soon - as Chelsea fans we can only hope that we emulate the golden age of Total Football and the awesome AAjAX**x
  28. We finished 10th lat season. You put a 23 year old Messi on our team, we are straight away a contender next season, all of our offensive problem goes away.
  29. Call me delusional - I still have hope :( .. https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/news/mykhailo-mudryk-teases-comeback-after-34310215.amp
  30. I am really curious to see the formation Xabi deploys.. in a back 3 + wingback .. I would assume up top we would have Cole and Estevao as 10s and Jao Pedro as the striker with Reece as the deep lying WB and quenda/neto on the left. Caicedo and (enzo/Barco/Lavia) in the middle .. We can then have Colwill Fofana/Hato Lacroix/Acheampong in a back 3 .. I see this as the most likely option tbh. Given we have no left wing/ no LB backup , we don’t have a physical DM/CM either and our Reece can’t play a RB - doesn’t have the engine and palaestra won’t start half the games.. just too many holes to play a back 4- which is a shame since a back 3 always seems so defensive..
  31. Let's do simple analysis on England game. England scored at 55' England was still trying to press higher but this happen at 56' min. Brilliant tackle by Spence but that is 💀 💀 . Being this open going 1-0 up in semi final after 55' was crazy. So England got into low block. That was Gordon playing a wb/fb because now Argentina pushed their player up which bring Gordon to defend. If your winger had to play fb/wb why not just play wb/fb there. So TT brought it Konsa for Gordon and swirtched to 532. There was another problem called Messi. Do you make sure the ball doesn't get to Messi or just play normal defense. Rice was the lcm and he was following Messi in the middle. The problem now, England was extremely narrow in the middle. Now you see de Paul free on the far side and Spence couldn't close him down because there was somebody on the sideline. De Paul crossed and McCallister had a free header. So 532 didn't work as England was overloaded on the right side. So England played 541. England no longer overloaded on the right hand side. Messi go the ball and he move left and a simple game on the right and switch from right to left and Messi made Fabregasesque pass and Argentina almost scored. Honestly, it is hard to say what TT need to do. Some say TT need to bring Rashford/Watkins. Not sure those two are known to be disciplined defensively and you have to be in this case. Messi is dropping as dm and keep making Fabregasesque pass and it will be your job to mark him.

  33. Oh look at the shocked face. Its definitely happening.
  34. I agree. But then watch him go to Bayern and never get injured. This league as a whole (pace, training, rest time etc.) is too demanding for some players. Olise used to be a sick note at Palace. Not anymore since joining Bayern.
  35. hopefully a ginger ninja. Welcome whoever you are and hope to see you play for us or our feeder clubs to do some book cooking if you turn out toss
  36. With you brother. We both keep the Luca Vialli "coifurre homme" styling alive. A timeless look that is strong, manly and, when needed, a bit intimidating. I am proud to say we are the complete opposite to Marc Cucurella. The Poodle headed dwarf.
  37. I kind of disagree... I expected far more than throwing on defenders... I couldnt see if he was urging players to get up the pitch, its not normal for a goalkeeper to go long at every opportunity at international level. The squad was horrendously underused and throwing on Tony with a minute to go is a desperate move. For all his faults Southgate got this team to where they are. that was using an internal coach promotion like Argentina. Scaloni, ex international player with little coaching history before being the manager, has utilised the absolute stregnths of his players. This is a wiki entry - "Scaloni began his coaching career in 2016, (Ten years!!!!) starting as an assistant at Sevilla and Argentina's under-20 team. In 2018, he was named the outright manager of the under-20 team, and was chosen to lead the Argentina senior team later that year." Scaloni has done tuchel, absolutely done him in the semi final in the last 20 minutes. Martinez, de paul, were instantly beyond the match tempo and his team were pugnatious all over the pitch in England palyers faces, they were horribly ruthless. Our three lions didnt have a tooth between them. Above all else I just didnt see to much fight in the side in a semi final of a world cup. Think the next manager needs to be Lee Carsley, get the best out of the players from the winning under 21 side etc. It is probably the best/most sensible hire we can get who knows the players and how they can win together. Keep Kane around for the Euros, bring others through, You look at the type of players who have made it to the final, then look at our bit part squad, Tuchel gambled and failed like many before him, best move him on. (Wiki) England national team On 9 August 2024, Carsley was appointed interim head coach of England men's national football team after Gareth Southgatedeparted the role.[79] He said "As I am very familiar with the players and the cycle of international football, it makes sense for me to guide the team while the FA continues the process to recruit a new manager".[80] During his tenure as interim head coach, he gave senior England debuts to Noni Madueke, Tino Livramento, Curtis Jones, Morgan Rogers, Morgan Gibbs-White, Angel Gomes, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Lewis Hall.[81] (these players would have energy through the squad and we missed it - Carsley has won the UEFA Under 21 European Championship back to back... It will be criminal to keep Tuchel on under the circumstances blocking the developent of an excellent Manager who's won things with two sets of players at international level. Fair?
